This week’s sneak peak is from an invitation party we are coordinating. Bridesmaid get-togethers are a great way to not only complete mundane wedding tasks quickly but also to help the wedding party get to know each other before the big day. Not to mention you can save a bundle when you assemble your own invitations and programs. Use the savings to upgrade to engraved invites or to score the turquoise peep-toes you have been keeping your eye on for your something blue. When bridesmaids can meet, relax, chat and share a few laughs a few times before the wedding it makes for more fun on the wedding day.
This weekend’s party will have a modern tea party feel and the ladies will enjoy a signature drink, tasty food and what I am sure will be great conversation while assembling invitations.
Delicate lace contrasted with bold colors, lots of candle light, and some beautiful china will help us achieve the look.
On the Menu:
Tea Smoked Chicken Lettuce Cups
Prosciutto, Fig and Goat Cheese mini Quesadillas
Grilled Cucumber Rolls Stuffed with Mascarpone, Basil Filling
Devilled Eggs with Truffle Oil Drizzle
And for Dessert: Honey Vanilla Pound Cake
Oh yes, and I don’t want to forget the signature drink. The ladies will be sipping Chia Tea Toddy’s and they are Yummy!!!
This bride is not going to feel bad putting her ladies to work with this spread. Each bridesmaid will also be taking home a package of homemade Parmesan and Thyme Crisps and a gourmet tea picked especially for them in the most adorable little tin.
