When it comes to your wedding day, not only do you want everything to go as planned-from getting ready in the morning to the transition to walking down the aisle then dinner and dancing-but you want to feel good, from your head to your toes. But lets focus on your face! We all have in our minds exactly what we want to look like as we see our second half for the first name as newlyweds. Whether it be big lashes and nude lips, or a smokey eye with a pop of colored gloss, it is definitely your own prerogative. Regardless of the look you’re going for, there are a few things to keep in mind leading up to your big day. I had the opportunity to speak with our beauty guru go to, Tayla LaMacchia, of Primed Artistry Group, for a little Q&A. 1. In your opinion, are there any specific Dos and Don’ts within your skin routine the week of the wedding? The week before the wedding, don’t do anything you haven’t done before. Now is not the time for experimentation, reserve that to at least six weeks prior to the wedding. Do eat well, hydrate the body and skin and get as much rest as possible. Reduce Sugar and Alcohol consumption and keep in mind that hotels and travel can dehydrate skin, so make sure to have tried-and-true skincare options to respond to stressed skin available. 2.
